The OC Throwdown WOD #1 has been released. If you missed my last blog, the OC Throwdown is an elite CrossFit competition where you can battle it out against other top Competitors in CF, if you qualify. There will be a series of 3 WODs to complete(must video record) and if you qualify you get to battle it out against some pre-qualified athletes which are all games competitors/big name CrossFit Athletes. Check out this poster with a few of the pre-qualified athletes.
WOD #1 is AMRAP 10min of 15 barbell ground to shoulder and 30 double-unders. The top score for men is 410 reps and the top score for women is 405 reps. The barbell weights for Men are 95lbs and for women 65lbs. The top WOD scores are just shy of 10 rounds. Try the workout out and let me know what you get! Here is the workout as it looks on the

15 Ground to Shoulder (95# Men/65# Women)
30 Double Unders
Notes: Weight is the same for all men and all women including the masters. At the bottom the weight must touch the floor. At the top the ELBOWS MUST PASS IN FRONT OF THE BAR at the top for the rep to count. You can curl, or clean the weight to your shoulders as long as it touches the floor at the bottom and the elbows pass in front of the bar at the top. You can complete the workout as many times as you wish and submit as many scores as you want on the
octhrowdown.com scoreboard under the link WOD SCORES. Before you can submit a score you must pay for REGISTRATION. Registration will stay open until 11/10 at 5pm PST.
THE DEADLINE FOR THIS WEEK TO REGISTER AND SUBMIT YOUR WOD 1 SCORE IS 5PM PST NOVEMBER 10th.
